Love your enemies

love-enemiesFrom “Today in The Word”. One of Christ’s most shocking commands is “Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you” (Luke 6:27–28). Do we take this seriously, or are we more like Jonah? This Christmas, let’s try to be more like Jesus, who chose to be born into the midst of His enemies in order to bring them salvation (Rom. 5:10).
